Part 1. The Invitation
有一天，亨利、亨利的大狗马奇、还有亨利的父母坐在门廊休息时，邮差送来一封信。
One day Henry and Henry's big dog, Mudge, and Henry's parents were sitting on the porch when a letter came.
信封上写着邀请函。亨利和马奇都喜欢收到邀请函，因为这意味着将有美味的蛋糕吃了。
The envelope said INVITATION. Henry loved invitations. Mudge loved them, too, because they usually meant cake.
“爸爸，快点打开吧！”亨利说。亨利的父亲打开信封。“这是一个家庭团聚邀请！”亨利的父亲说，“在你表姐安妮的家里。”
"Hurry, Dad, open it!" said Henry. Henry's father opened the envelope. "It's a family reunion!" said Henry's father. "At Cousin Annie's house."

"Yay!" shouted Henry. He liked Cousin Annie a lot. Mudge wagged. He liked Annie, too. She always wiped his nose with hankies.

"You'II meet a lot of new relatives, Henry,'said Henry's mother. "Great!" said Henry.

"And you'll hear a lot of good stories,' she said. "Great!" said Henry.

"And you'Il get a million sloppy kisses," said Henry's father.
Henry looked at Mudge. "Uh-oh,' Henry said.
