罗伯特·蒙施 著名儿童故事作家。蒙施1945年6月11日出生于美国宾夕法尼亚州，曾在美国取得文学学士，艺术、教育硕士学位。
蒙施在1985年获得朱诺奖（Juno Award），1986年获得鲁斯·史瓦兹奖（Ruth Schwartz Award），1991年，他又荣登加拿大书商协会的年度优秀作者榜。他曾遍访北美各地，并根据各个地方小朋友的想法、生活，编出了许许多多经典的故事。由他主笔创作的图画故事，在北美畅销几十年，几乎成为了每个孩子必读的故事书。蒙施系列作品的全球销量已经突破3000万册，是全世界公认的最畅销的儿童读物之一。如今，蒙施与家人居住于加拿大安大略省的奎尔夫。
迈克尔·马奇蔻 著名画家。马奇蔻1942年8月1日出生于法国卡尔卡松，后赴加拿大深造。1966年毕业于安大略艺术学院后，他陆续获得了数个设计和插画的奖项。
上世纪80年代起，马奇蔻开始为罗伯特·蒙施和艾伦·蒙施的作品绘制插图，从此名扬世界，并在1986年赢得了鲁斯·史瓦兹奖（Ruth Schwartz Award）。如今，迈克尔先生居住于加拿大安大略省的多伦多。
